CWHOA Florida Friendly Landscaping Information
CWHOA COMMON AREA PLANTING PROGRAM:
The Country Walk Landscape Maintenance program will ensure proper maintenance, improvements to planting sites on common areas that are designated by approved Mod/Arc process with guidance from IFAS extension agents, and arborists.
Goals:
To enhance the beauty of our neighborhood.
Increase the overall tree canopy (replacing trees & plants that have been removed over time) and installing trees & plants that will thrive in areas that turf and other plantings have struggled in over the years.
Utilize Florida Friendly Landscape principles to plant beautiful low maintenance gardens beds with the “right plant in the right place” reducing / eliminating the need for irrigation on the common areas.
Identify common areas that would benefit from planting projects.
Trees:
Selected trees will be established in 5-10-15-30-gallon pots (to be determined based on location), guaranteed for at least three months by the nursery and will be planted on common areas with Mod/Arc approval.
